Aireys Inlet Beaches and Walks

Aireys Inlet welcomes the whole family with numerous activities for you and your pets all year round. From township walks, cafes and restaurants, coastal walks and beaches with on leash and off leash areas available… it’s all here.

Popular pet-friendly walking tracks surrounding Aireys Inlet include;

  • Ocean View Walking Track (on lead)
  • Ironbark Gorge Walking Track (on lead)
  • Sunnymeade Beach Access (Timeshare zone – Dogs off leash)
  • Urquhart Bluff Beach Access (Timeshare zone)
  • Dogs are also permitted off-lead along the beach between O’Donohue Road, Anglesea until Urquhart Bluff.

Please note, over peak visitor periods including summer and the Easter weekend, timeshare restrictions operate on some popular beaches that are often crowded during the day. This means dogs aren’t allowed in certain areas from 9am — 7pm.
